Master Guard is a solvent-based protector, so it dries quickly and can be applied shortly after cleaning. It coats the individual fibres rather than sealing the surface, which means the fabric keeps its feel and breathability.
The protector buys you time. Spills sit on top of the fibre instead of wicking into it, so most accidents can be blotted up before they become a permanent mark.
It can only be applied to clean items, so it is always done as a finishing step after a full clean.
